It can be so hard to say goodbye to the little
ones who touch our heart. This page is
dedicated to ZETA. See her story below. |

A promising star... tragically no longer shines. Zeta
had gone to SC to live with the Owens family. A family excited
about Border Collies and into everything Border Collies are into...
including Fly-ball, Frisbee, Obedience and just having a real good
time! Zeta, the shining star of her first two obedience
classes showed lots of promise and there were big hopes for her
Fly-ball career. Zeta never met a stranger, and in addition to
having her picture in the local papers was well on her way to
becoming a certified therapy dog.
Tragically, just days before her Six month birthday, Zeta
fell ill. Her regular doctor could find nothing wrong
and prescribed medication for her upset stomach. Days
later, despite diligent efforts by the Owens Family, and the
emergency vet ... nothing could be done to save Zeta.
Her Star shines no more ... her story reminds us that Vets don't
always know everything ... and that a simple case of an upset tummy
can be something very serious.
It also reminds us to love these guys everyday ... like it might
be our last day together.
