Not all Border Collies are created equally, and
choosing the best Border Collie for your next
companion, show dog, performance prospect or
working dog can be a very important decision.
Every Border Collie in our breeding program has
been carefully chosen for their breed type,
structure, temperament and that of their parents
and grand parents. Every pedigree is
carefully evaluated and only the best possible
matches are made. Every Border Collie is
tested for Hip dysplasia, Elbow dysplasia,
Thyroid disease and Eye Disease prior to
breeding. Every Border Collie has been
thoroughly evaluated for structural soundness
and breed type before being considered for
breeding.

Border Collie puppies are born in my home and
raised around normal family environments.
They are thoroughly socialized to common
household sounds, smells and to various people.
At four weeks of age they are moved outside to a
large indoor/outdoor enclosure with their mom.
Border Collie Moms are responsible for teaching
their puppies the ropes of being a well mannered
dog and how to explore their environment.
All of our puppies are exposed to other Border
Collies and other dogs. They are exposed to cats
and people and general wildlife.
At 8 weeks puppies are given a rigorous
evaluation of structure, temperament and breed
type. They are given their fist shots,
microchip and examined by a licensed
Veterinarian.
Every puppy is hand selected for the
appropriate home. We consider the
lifestyle of the home, the intended purpose for
the dog and the puppies personality. We
know our puppies better than anyone else, and
can best determine the right puppy for you. |
